There is a shortage of physicians in the rural areas of Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan Medical Association is having their Representative Assembly Meeting on November 7-8 to discuss matters that Saskatchewan residents and physicians are currently facing. One of the greatest issues is that there is a large shortage of physicians in rural areas of Saskatchewan. Many physicians are moving west to Alberta and British Columbia.

The Assembly consists of approximately 80 physicians elected from specialty sections and districts across the province.
