U13

The U13 West Central AA Wheat Kings had a pair of games this past weekend, and went 1-1. West Central hosted the U13 AA Humboldt Broncos on Saturday night in Unity, and fell 13-2. The team bounced back with a better effort on Sunday, and came out on top 8-3 against the visiting Warman Wildcats. Max Douglas had a big day against Warman, scoring a hat trick to go along with one assist. Both Graydon and Taylor Neumeier scored two goals as well in the win. 

With his three goal and one assist performance on Sunday, Max Douglas leads the team in scoring with 20 goals and 15 assists for 35 points in 20 games played. Right behind him is Taylor Neumeier with 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points in 20 games played. And Graydon Neumeier is third with 18 goals and 10 assists for 28 points in just 15 games played.

The team hits the road for a pair of games in Humboldt this weekend. Starting on Saturday at 12:45 pm, and then a Sunday matchup with U13 AA Broncos at 2:00 pm.

West Central has a 8-11-1 record so far this season, which is fourth in the Centre Four Division.

U15

The U15 West Central Wheat Kings were supposed to play three games on the road this weekend, but they were postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. There are no makeup dates at this time. They will be on the ice this Thursday against the Saskatoon Bandits at Merlis Belsher Community Arena at 8:15 pm, and then a home game against the Martensville Marauders on Saturday at 3:00 pm in Eston.

West Central currently has a 7-6-4 record this season, which is second last in the Centre Four Division.

U18

The U18 AA West Central Wheat Kings were off this weekend after beating the Martensville Marauders 4-3 on January 10. The Wheat Kings have a pair of games this week, starting at home against the Saskatoon Sabercats at 7:30 pm Thursday in Kerrobert. Then the team hits the road Sunday to take on the North West Stars in North Battleford at 5:15 pm. 

West Central currently has a 14-10-2 record, which is good enough for fifth in the Centre Four Division.
