The streets of Kerrobert were rumbling last week during an all day event which featured over 150 classic vehicles. The Kerrobert Kinsmen Show and Shine welcomed the Miles of Mayhem to the town. Miles of Mayhem is a travelling car show and chose Kerrobert as a destination this year. Each vehicle passed by the Kerrobert Courthouse to take a picture and allow event goers to get a close up look.

Main organizer and member of the Kerrobert Kinsmen, Ashton Tetzlaff says despite the hot weather, it was an amazing day for the community.

“Probably one of the bigger crowds we've seen for a bit. The first car showed up at 2 and they were still coming at like midnight. We lost some of the vehicles because of the weather, but we had probably close to 160 vehicles in total either stopping at the car show or roll through.”

Temperatures were sizzling and so were the burgers which were barbequed by members of the Kerrobert Kinsmen. The hundreds of burgers sold kept everyone fed and refreshments were served in the beer gardens while prairie band Brayden King performed for the crowd.

Tetzlaff continued to praise the town for the support throughout the event.

"It was a super good turnout and we were really happy with how the event ran. It was the first year the Kinsmen took over the car show so we were extremely happy with the support from the town and everyone coming out and making it a great day.

Over 300 people attended and money raised from the beer gardens and BBQ will be going directly back into the community.
