The most recent report for the Rosetown RCMP for the period of March 4 – 10 has been released. The list was dominated by vehicle collisions thanks to icy road conditions over the past week, and opens with a case of mischief in town.

Back on March 4th at 8:00 am, Rosetown RCMP received a report of mischief, though there was insufficient evidence to proceed. Shortly after noon members would receive a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7 near Harris, SK, with that matter still under investigation.

March 5th was busy for local emergency crews as first just after 7:00 am, word was received of a motor vehicle collision in Rosetown with no injuries, and then one later that night was reported for insurance purposes and did not see any injuries either.

The next night out, Rosetown RCMP received word of a break and enter to a garage and a rural residence. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. Then the next day on the 7th, Rosetown RCMP again responded to several calls due to icy roads.

The report continues with details from a busy March 8th, as during the afternoon hours into evening members received a report of uttering threats, though the complainant was spoke to and nothing further was required.

Shortly after they would provide traffic control while a towing company pulled a semi tractor trailer out of the ditch, and then about an hour after that, Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Fiske, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

To finish off the report on the 9th, Rosetown RCMP received a report of fraud, with that matter still under investigation. Then the next day, members received a report of a traffic complaint on Highway 7 near Harris with insufficient evidence to proceed.

There were also 38 traffic related charges issued, three 911 miss dial calls, and 2 false alarm calls.
