The Melville Millionaires and Kindersley Jr. Klippers started Saturday night's game with a tight checking affair. Kindersley goaltender Cody Jaman was outstanding once again in this game, making at least a dozen unbelievable stops to keep his team in the hockey game. Kelton Pyne was also sharp for the moneymen, but the defense for the Millionaires was great all night long, keeping the Klippers to the outside for the most part.

There wasn't any scoring in this one until late in the second period, as the Millionaires got a powerplay, and Payton Kostyshyn found Colby Ball sneaking in from the point and his one timer beat Jaman for his sixth of the season from the blueline. Ball kept up his good play, as after a faceoff win he made a nice low shot, which was deflected in by Jake Briltz, in his first SJHL game to double the lead.

The third period continued to see a strong defensive effort from Melville, and after Josh Pufahl went off for cross checking, Louis-Frederic Theberge scored from the right point on a nice setup by Brayden Fryfogle for his fifth of the season. The Millionaires then iced the game into the empty net, on what turned out to be a shorthanded goal by Ethan Anstey, his first of the season.

Kindersley ends their trip in Wilcox tomorrow afternoon, and Country 104 will have the action, with Murlin Electronics pregame show starting a little earlier for the Sunday matinee, at 4:15 pm.
