Dodsland forward Carson Dobson and Rosetown defenseman Eric Robbie form a pair of west central talent currently on the Nipawin Hawks, and now a former resident of the region has taken a job with the team's front office to add another piece to the west central contingent.

The move was announced part way through the month, and West Central Online was notified of it through conversation with Rosetown Mayor Trevor Hay, where he shared the good news of a former notable resident.

Looking at his new players in Dobson and Robbie, both just completed their first full year in the SJHL as they enter their 20 year old season. On the blueline, Robbie had 4 assists in 51 games to go along with 41 penalty minutes, while Dobson had 24 points in 54 outings climbing the lineup as a top 6 forward.

Looking at the SJHL Championship round, the finals are set to begin on Friday as Flin Flon takes on Estevan.
