The latest update from the Rosetown RCMP detachment is in from the week of December 23rd to the 29th.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police out of Rosetown received a report of uttering threats last week. Back on Tuesday, December 23rd they arrested and charged a 23 year old female with uttering threats and released her for an upcoming court appearance.

On Christmas eve they were in Elrose looking for an erratic driver. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

After no calls on Christmas day, local RCMP received a request for a wellbeing check on boxing day where members spoke to the subject of complaint.

It was a busy day on December 27th as Rosetown RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute shortly before noon, and then about an hour later Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Zealandia. There was insufficient evidence to proceed, and shortly after that members received a report of a 2 vehicle collision near Elrose, SK. There were no injuries, and it was reported for insurance purposes. Later on that night, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision near McGee, and that matter is still under investigation.
