Due to a number of factors around weather, West Central Saskatchewan has seen a number of accidents around the area to start off the week including one in the Harris area that required the assistance of STARS Air Ambulance. According to RCMP Spokesperson Keely Grasser, both people involved in the collision are in stable condition.

"At approximately 8:30am, Rosetown RCMP were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 7 about 2km east of Harris. The adult male driver was transported to hospital with what are described as serious injuries, and the adult female passenger was transported to hospital with what are described as non-life threatening injuries. Highway 7 was closed briefly during initial response but has since reopened."

Also reported to the West Central Online news room have been a vehicle pile up Tuesday morning in the Flaxcombe area on the hill of Highway 7 west of town towards the Alberta border, and a report of a vehicle that had rolled into the ditch on Highway 44 area near Eston.
