Two Saskatchewan authors and illustrators are welcoming everyone to join them on Family Literacy Day tomorrow. Bernice Johnson-Laxdal and Miriam Korner are hosting an online book sharing showcasing their book "When the Trees Crackle with Cold".

The gathering is free for anyone to join on January 27th at 10:30 am. Entry can be obtained by visiting saskliteracy.ca/crackle.

Those who join will hear from Johnson-Laxdal and Korner as they highlight their book. Stories will also be shared by Johnson-Laxdal of where she grew up, as well as teaching about the months in the Cree calendar.

The event is presented by Saskatchewan Literacy Network in collaboration with the Family Literacy Hubs of Saskatchewan.
