Clive Rozdeba and Nick Trenciansky of the Kindersley Klippers have been named Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League players of the week in their respective positions.

Blueliner Clive Rozdeba has been named Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. The defensemen picked up assists on Tuesday against Humboldt and Wednesday against La Ronge as well as scoring goals in both games against Melville on Friday and Sunday. In 45-games this season, Rozdeba has 8 goals and 23 assists.

This is the second Goaltender of the Week win for Nick Trenciansky. The Klippers goalie stopped 24 of 26 shots in the win over La Ronge on Tuesday and then 25 of 26 shots to help defeat Melville on Sunday. Trenciansky has a 3.37 goals against average, and a .911 save percentage with the Klippers.

Justen Close was also named the runner-up for Goaltender of the Week.

The Klippers will try to extend a five game winning streak tonight against the Humboldt Broncos in their final regular season meeting. The game is scheduled for 7:30 PM at West Central Events Centre. The Klippers lead the season series 3-2 over Humboldt, and have beat the Broncos in the last three meetings.
