The province is launching a $1.5 million-dollar review of Saskatchewan's health care system from both the patient's and administrator's point of view.

Health Minister Don McMorris maintains health care will remain publicly funded, but says he would like to see if there are better ways to deliver services.

The Opposition NDP has said that the Saskatchewan Party wants to weaken the public system and shift toward private-for-profit health care.
