Delisle Chiefs

The Delisle Chiefs were in action his past weekend in the PJHL. The Chiefs started on the road in a game from Saskatoon last Thursday against the Saskatoon Royals. Delisle got 2 goals from Jaden Shewchuk and also got a goal and an assist from Mitchell Girolami and Shaemus Mcleod made 28 saves to lead the Chiefs to a 5-2 victory.

Delisle was right back at it on Friday against the Carrot River Thunder on the road. This time the Chiefs fell by a score of 5-2 to the Thunder. Luke Stadnyk and Dayden Dvernichuk (Ver-Ni-Chuck) scored for Delisle in the defeat.

Next action for the Chiefs is Saturday night against the Regina Capitals from the Delisle Arena with puck drop at 7:30.


 West Central Rage

The West Central Rage were on the ice this past weekend in PJHL action. The Rage had a pair of games against Saskatoon teams.

First up were the Westleys on Friday night in Saskatoon and in a close game, West Central fell by a score of 3-2. Connor Clark and Blake Fennig scored for the Rage in the defeat. Next up was the Saskatoon Royals in Kerrobert on Saturday night.

The Rage scored three goals this time, but the Royals scored 7 in a 7-3 win for Saskatoon. Unity’s Brayden Schultz scored a pair of goals and Kerrobert’s Avery Cholin got the other in the loss against the Royals.

Next action for the West Central Rage is a mid week match up versus the Saskatoon Quakers tomorrow night in Saskatoon and then they will host the Saskatoon Westleys on Saturday from Kerrobert at 7:30.

Blake Fennig continues to lead the Rage in scoring with 42 points in 31 games with Brayden Schultz in second with 21 points and Avery Cholin has 17 points to wrap up the top 3 for the Rage heading into play this week.
