According to Sasktip on Facebook, on June 9, 2022, North Battleford Conservation Officers received a call on the Turn-In-Poachers line.

What they found was just what the call had stated, that three pronghorn antelope had been shot and left approximately 4.5 miles straight north of Luseland, SK on grid road #675. Upon attending the scene it was determined that all three had been shot with a small caliber firearm, and along with leaving the animals to waste, there is no open season on at this time for pronghorn making it a classic case of poaching.

These events were believed to have happened  between the evenings of June 7 and June 8, 2022.

They are looking for the public's help to solve this blatant resource abuse, and if you have any knowledge on who may have done this, or saw any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around that time, they ask you please call the TIP line at 1-800-667-7561.
