Kritters Are Worth Saving or KAWS is hosting the fifth annual Raise the Woof Comedy night at the Community Centre in Brock on Saturday.

KAWS is an organization based in Kindersley which began in 2010 to help find foster homes for animals in need.

The comedy show is the non-profit animal rescue organization’s main fundraiser of the year.
The entertainment will feature three comedians including headliner Andrew Sleighter, and Cory Michaelis who have been featured on television, and radio and have performed at several festivals.
Doors will be open at 6:00 PM, the hot supper is at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM.
Limited tickets can be purchased in advance for $40.00 at the Kindersley Vet Clinic, Fountain Tire, or from a KAWS member, and for $50.00 at the door with all proceeds going to help rescue animals in need.

The evening will also feature a 50/50 draw and several other raffle prize draws.
Volunteers as well as donation items for prizes are still needed for the event.
