It was an unseasonably warm weekend in the west central area which included record temperatures recorded in Kindersley and Rosetown on Sunday. Rosetown reached 24.9 degrees Celsius, breaking the old mark of 23.4 degrees Celsius for October 17 back in 2017. Meanwhile in Kindersley, it reached 24.1 degrees Celsius, breaking the old record of 20.7 degrees Celsius back in 1986. 

Lucky Lake also saw a record temperature for October 17, as it reached 25.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday, breaking the old mark of 23.9 degrees Celsius back in 2017. 

The warmest spot in west central was Leader, where the mercury reached 27.6 degrees Celsius, a full three degrees warmer than the old record of 24.2 degrees Celsius set back in 2003.
