The Rosetown Soccer Association just held their AGM this past Thursday.

The Saskatchewan Soccer Association showed up to make a presentation on the benefits of joining the provincial soccer authority. Ashley Moellenbeck, President of the Rosetown Soccer Association, says they've been hopeful to join for a few years now, and is thrilled they've finally decided to make the jump. Ashley also talked about a record attendance at the AGM of somewhere in the vicinity of 15 parents/volunteers, where as in the past, sometimes there has been 2-4 people that showed up to help out. Moellenbeck says this all huge news for youth soccer in the area, and she was also completely thrilled to have a little more help running the association this season. Moellenbeck talks about the changes for this season, and what it will mean for youth soccer in the area.

Ashley also talks about the coaching opportunities now available with membership in the SSA.

Moellenbeck also talks about youth looking to make some extra money by becoming a referee, which pays fairly decently.

Registration for the Rosetown Soccer Association will be held at the Rosetown Arena in the lobby, March 1st, from 530-8 pm.

If you would like to help out, are interested in becoming a coach or referee, or would just like some more information on the RSA, you can call Ashley at (306) 291-5537.
