June 28 to July 4 saw a wide variety of calls keeping our police busy in the community. 

Rosetown RCMP received a report of a missing horse near Wartime on June 28. If anyone sees a red Mare approximately 14 hands high with a white blaze face, you are asked to contact the Rosetown RCMP.  

Late on the 29th Rosetown RCMP investigated a suspicious person report. When the subject of the complaint was located, police transported them to Rosetown hospital for assessment. 

Rosetown detachment also responded to a semi hitting a powerline on the 3rd of July. SaskPower attended as well and there were no injuries to report.

June 28 

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of a missing mare from the Wartime area. If anyone sees a red Mare approx 14 hands high with a white blaze face please contact the Rosetown RCMP Detachment.  
  • Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.  

June 29 

  • Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members located the subject of complaint and EMS transported the individual to Rosetown Hospital for assessment.  

June 30 

  • Kyle RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 4. There were no injuries - reported for insurance purposes.  

July 2 

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with an elk. There were no injuries - reported for insurance purposes.  
  • Rosetown RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute in Zealandia, SK.  
  • Kyle RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 31. There were no injuries - reported for insurance purposes.  

July 3 

  • Kyle RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.  
  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of semi hitting a powerline. Members along with SaskPower attended - there were no injuries. 

July 4 

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.  

There were 58 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 mis-dial call and 1 false alarm call.
