The Rosetown Redwings are getting down to the final weekend of play in the SVHL. The Redwings had a pair of games this past weekend and were victorious in both of them.

The Redwings hosted the Central Butte Flyers last weekend and came out on top, by a score of 8-5. Rosetown was lead by Justin Fox and Jared Jagow who each scored two, as well as Zach Douglas, who had a pair, in the 8-5 triumph. Connor Gay lead the Flyers with 2 goals and 2 assists for Central Butte in the loss.

Rosetown looked to complete the weekend sweep against the Outlook Ice Hawks last Saturday. The Redwings did just that, defeating Outlook by a score of 6-1 at the Rosetown Arena.

Rosetown was lead by Jordan Johnston over the Ice Hawks as he scored two in the victory. Zach Douglas had 3 points as well and Riley Braun and Carson Grolla each had a goal and an assist in the win.

The Redwings are on the road for their last two games of the season starting in Delisle on Friday night at 8 pm and then shovel off to Central Butte on Saturday night for a 7 pm puck drop to cap off their regular season.

Rosetown has a 12-5-1 record and still has an outside chance for second in the SVHL trailing the Kenaston Blizzards by 3 points heading into action this weekend.
