Soccer Tournament in Rosetown May 28th.

Ashley Moellenbeck, who runs the Rosetown Soccer Association told West Central Online that the season was finished for the U-8, U-10, U-12 and U-14 teams on Wednesday of last week. U-6 and U-16/18 wrapped up last Thursday and last night the U-4's finish for the summer. Ashley said lining up games with Kindersley worked quite well throughout the season, although she didn't have as much luck with some of the Saskatoon teams.

Ashley also stated she'd love to put together a program that runs throughout the winter. She said it's all dependent on finding a location that the program can use permanently. Ashley said she has chatted with Kindersley about taking some kids throughout the winter to different tournaments.

Ashley said she is also exploring the possibility of joining the Saskatchewan Soccer Association which would lead to better access to coaching and referee resources. Ashley stated they would have a wrap up meeting with the Saskatchewan Central Soccer League first, and then decide on the next options.

West Central Online also asked Ashley about the possibility of returning to run the Rosetown Soccer Association for next year, and she said she is frustrated with the lack of help. She stated she has some great volunteers supporting her, but they are also feeling burnt out. The Rosetown Soccer Association has grown to around 160 kids registered.
