Rosetown's Town Council is back at it for the new year.

A good portion of the meeting was spent discussing the new Co-Op grocery store.  Co-Op General Manager Mike Moon was on hand to discuss permits and answer any questions council had.  Construction of the new store is set to begin on February 9th and will take around 11 months.

Council also discussed the Rosetown Arena's parking lot.  If they are able to receive a grant they will pave the lot.  If they do not get a grant the lot will be filled with gravel.  Council also discussed the parking around the arena's sign.  They will prohibit parking on either side of it.

Also discussed was the price of lots at the Civic Centre subdivision.  Lots range from around $30,000 to $40,000.
