Jan Coffey Olson was given the oath of office on Monday. She is now officially a Rosetown Town Councilor. She won a byelection to claim the empty seat on Thursday June 23rd.
Residents of Rosetown that use Lorass compost can expect a route change beginning August 1st. Compost retrieval on the North side of town was out weighing the South by a large margin and the organics company asked for a route change in order to even out the loads.
Mayor Hay welcomed the visiting teams to Rosetown for the U11 provincial ball tournament. They saw teams from Holdfast, Eston, Balcarres, Macklin, Kindersley, Wilkie, Biggar and the host team from Rosetown.
