The long awaited Rosetown Youth Center is all finished up thanks to many residents in the area's hard work and dedication. Tonight, Friday February 3rd, 2017 at 7 PM, the center will open it's doors to youth in the area.

Local man, Bob White, has been working tirelessly to get the center up and running, and he now gets to see the fruits of his hard labour in action this evening. White said SaskTel has agreed to provide free WIFI for the building, which he said came as a welcome surprise. Bob says the target ages for the center are in the 9-15 age range. White said Sheila at the Rosetown Arena has agreed to donate some gift certificates for burgers and the like, which came as Bob's reccomendation. White said she tried offering a cash donation, but this way they can involve the youth even more and win prizes. Bob also mentioned that they are still looking for volunteers, and if you'd like to help out in any way possible to get a hold of Bob at (306) 831 8650. 

The Youth Center is well equipped with a pool table, 2 foosball tables, air hockey, shuffleboard, a punching bag, XBOX, PlayStation, WII and a host of other board and card games.

There are 2 foosball tables, a shuffleboard table, pool table, air hockey, a punching bag, an XBOX, PlayStation and WII, as well as a plethora of other board and card games. The center is equipped with a projector and a pull down big screen for watching movies.

All kids have to do when they pop in, is put their first name in the sign in book.

Local youth will get 1 free beverage and 1 free ice cream cone every time they pop in.
