The Edmonton Eskimos played host to the Saskatchewan Roughriders last night.

In the Eskimos first game out of their bye week, they beat the Riders 17-14. Edmonton rallied from a 14-nothing first quarter. In the game there were ten turnovers, six of which were by the Riders.

 

Next up for the Riders, Winnipeg heads to Saskatchewan on September 5th to take on the second place 5-and-3 Riders. Winnipeg is currently sitting at the bottom of the East with two wins and six losses.
