Biggar born Robyn Silvernagle and her team from the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford played Team Nova Scotia in last night's opening draw. After falling behind 2-0, the Team put up 3 in the 3rd end to take the lead.

Nova Scotia then got two singles to regain the lead 4-3. Team Silvernagle came back with a deuce in 6, but in the turning point of the evening, Nova Scotia got a big 4 ender in the 7th. Silvernagle countered with another 2 points in the 8th, but gave up 3 in the 9th, and 1 more in the 10th to fall 12-7.

The Silver Squad returns to the ice Saturday evening at 8:00, looking to bounce back against Team Alberta.
