The SJHL announced their Players of the Week.
SJHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Winner: Logan Herauf, Melville Millionaires
90 F Herauf (Balgonie SK) had a big five point game against the Flin Flon Bombers on Saturday night to lead his team to a tough win on the road. Herauf had a hat trick and also set up two goals as part of a six point week. He now has 6-goals and 7-assists in 9-games overall. He ranks amongst the top five in overall SJHL rookie scoring.
Runners-up: Kyle Stroh, Estevan; Blake Hietala, Melfort; Rylan Schwartz, Notre Dame.
SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK
Winner: Tanner Vandesype, Humboldt Broncos
88 D Vandesype (Radville SK) contributed the game winning goal and two assists for the Bronc os on Sunday night in a win over the Estevan Bruins. He finished the week with 5-points in 3-games. For the season, Vandesype has 18-points in 14-games with 6-goals and 8-assists. He also has 12-powerplay points. Vandesype (18-points) and Brady Wacker (21-points) are 1-2 on the Humboldt Broncos in scoring and also 1-2 in overall SJHL defensemen scoring.
Runners-up: Kirk Byczynski, Yorkton; Brady Wacker, Humboldt; Tommy Brown, Melfort.

For the second time this season, 88 G Tetrault (Red Deer AB) is the SJHL Goalie Of The Week. Tetrault stopped 48-of-51 shots to go 1-0-and-1 with a 1.44-GAA and .941-SPCT for the week. Overall, he's 5-0-and-1, 1.62, .945. Without him, the Mustangs have gone 0-6-0-and-2.
