Shayne Neigum and the Kindersley Sr. Klippers are getting set for the playoffs in both league and provincials and we caught up with the league leader in scoring to talk about how the season went.

Neigum talked about the immediate impact that centre Preston Kopeck played in the team’s success this season.

Neigum also talked about the others on the team who have filled in playing on the top line.

He then talked about the upcoming provincial playoffs against Lucky Lake.

Neigum also talked about how competitive the SWHL was this season.

The Klippers will face off against the Lucky Lake Lakers with first game in Lucky Lake and the second in Kindersley with the third being held in Lucky Lake if necessary. The dates have not been announced yet because play has to completed in the first round of Senior B playoffs by February 17.

And in the SWHL the Klippers will have to wait until tomorrow night after the Edam 3 Stars play the Biggar Nationals to see who they will play in round 1 of the SWHL playoffs. It will either be Biggar or Unity.
