Two STARS missions made touchdown around west-central Saskatchewan this past Saturday.

Just before 1:00 PM on Saturday a STARS helicopter began it's descent into Rosetown, eventually landing outside at the Rosetown & District Health Centre. With the helipad located next to Rosetown Central High School who were hosting a high-school football game, the chopper made it's presence known by knocking down numerous tents around the field all while capturing the attention of fans and players.

The local fire department along with EMS were on scene. The helicopter remained in place well past 3:00 PM for what was confirmed to be a transfer.

That sadly wasn't the only emergency call for the region over the weekend. Nearly 12 hours later STARS was dispatched to a late-night accident near Wilkie.
