The Sunwest School Division has sold the title of the Milden Central School Building to the town of Milden for $1.00.
In a meeting on June 22, the town of Milden and the school division reached an agreement for the purchase. Sunwest School Communications Officer Roxan Foursha explained that the Board of Education wishes to accomodate the town.
The board agreed to sell the town the title at the cost of $1.00 because there had to be some sort of monetary exchange.
The deal will not be official until the Ministry of Education approves it.
