People relied on flights from STARS' Saskatoon and Regina bases 901 times in the last fiscal year. Now the province gets to showcase its giving spirit for the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service.

The Critical Care on the Air Radiothon for STARS Saskatchewan is underway Wednesday and Thursday in markets across much of Saskatchewan, including all Golden West Broadcasting markets.

Your support for the non-profit can stretch further with numerous sponsors lined up to match donations throughout the two days.

All funds raised stay in the province to help STARS stay operational. Money goes towards purchasing items such as six butterfly ultrasounds. Six are needed in Saskatchewan, for a total price of $30,000.

Over $340,000 was raised during the radiothon in 2021.

Tune into your radio station from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day to hear amazing stories of lives being changed, and saved, by the non-profit organization and its phenomenal team. Listen online by following the link on this website.
