We shared some news last week that local ski and snowboard enthusiasts were eager to hear, and Table Mountain posted on their Facebook last Friday that opening day was officially set:
The exciting announcement was accompanied by information that their Chalet and Rental hours will run from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with the lifts open between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm when things open up later this week.
During December they will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Christmas break hours go as follows:
- Christmas Break – Open daily (Dec 23 & 24, closed 25th, 26-Jan.)
In January they will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday with some information on those hours possible to change.
During February the ski hill will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, and then during the February Break it will be open daily from February 17th to the 26th.
After that in March the hill will be open Wednesday to Sunday, and it's also noted that into the new year 'Night Skiing' will once again be running on Fridays only from January 6th to March 24th. Rentals on those nights go from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the lifts 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and these nights will likely be cancelled if temperatures are -20 or colder.
