The Eston Ramblers have a chance to make it a memorable end to minor hockey for six of their graduating players.

Earning a spot in the Hi-Way 14 Hockey League's U18 championship final is just one accomplishment for Kearin Wagner, Boston Dipple, Quintin King, Evan Watts, Nigel Byrnes, and Colby Mathers. They moved into the league finals with a 4-2 win last Thursday against the Kerrobert/Luseland Tigers, now awaiting the winner of the Macklin versus Dinsmore series set to resume tonight.

The team is also still alive in provincials. After the big league win, they shifted their focus back to their Provincial B series against Meadow Lake. Game 1 of the series resulted in a 4-4 tie, as the Ramblers then returned home and took a dominating 5-0 shutout win to move themselves into the Provincial B final against Preeceville.

The Provincial B final series will get underway later this week as Preeceville comes for Game 1 on Thursday in Eston at 7:15. There is a guaranteed 50/50 of $2000. With the semi-finals wrapping up tonight the Ramblers shouldn't have to wait long for their league finals schedule to come.

No joke, after April 1st, the U18 Ramblers could have two banners for 2022-2023.
