The Unity Midget Girls team went down to Alberta to play in a junior girls sofball tournament in Leduc last weekend. The girls play against higher age group to give them a challenge and prepare them for when they become juniors.

West Central Online spoke to Pat Risling, coach for the Unity Midget Girls team who said "the girls learned that the ladies are still competitive and they leaned what it's like to play at the junior level, they'll be there soon enough themseleves."

The Unity Girls team played at total of 5 games and won 3 of them.  The tournament ran Friday, Saturday and was cut short on Sundau due to rain.
