Since March 8th, the art exhibit "Common Ground" has been on display at the Kerrobert Courtroom Gallery. Cindy Hoppe and Diane Larouche Ellard from Biggar make very different styles of art, with a common theme of the prairies around us.

The show will continue to be on display at the Kerrobert Courtroom Gallery until May 27th, as the works interpret and abstract a shared landscape in West Central Saskatchewan. According to the gallery Facebook page, the artists employ a rich combination of media including paint, encaustic, India ink, markers, fabric, dye, embroidery thread, pencil crayon, oil sticks and quilting to explore process and mark making; and each uses a unique visual vocabulary to draw the viewer into their beloved common ground.
