His heart may still be pumping out of his chest, after a 3OT thriller sent Jhett Larson and the Red Deer Rebels onto the next round. Larson collected 2 assists in the series clinching 5-4 win as part of the teams top line where he has been all season, and Larson actually finished a +4 in the teams latest win.

They played well across the six game series, and you can check out a clip of Larson scoring earlier on against Brandon below. Larson now has 3 points in 6 games entering the next round of playoffs, where Red Deer will face a shorter road trip than it was to Brandon, but a likely tougher test in the Edmonton Oil Kings.

Their next series is set to begin on Thursday, and as for other west central talent, Rosetown's Vaughn Watterodt and the Saskatoon Blades lost out in Game 5 on Friday, and Eatonia's Cade Hayes and the Spokane Chiefs were swept out of the first round by the Kamloops Blazers back on Friday as well.
