After a long wait, the 35th annual Western Canadian Oldtimers baseball tournament begins today in the Town of Kindersley. The 35th edition of the tournament had to be put on hold due to COVID in both 2020 and 2021. But now eight teams will try to take home the Championship.

Teams from all over western Canada will be taking part, including the Medicine Hat Jays, the Saskatoon Sportsman, the Saskatoon Joes, the Red Deer Legends, the Regina Drifters, the Provost Buds, and the host Kindersley Klippers.

The first games of the day start at 2:30 pm on Berard Field, and then 3:00 pm on Flanagan Field.

A full slate of action is set for tomorrow beginning at 10:00 am on Berard Field, and 10:30 on Flanagan Field. And finally Sunday sees the A through D finals taking place, starting at 10:00 am.
