Hockey season has started up for many families across Saskatchewan, getting into gear more and more each day with the winter approaching. The West Central Wheat Kings AA program saw two of their teams start up their regular season's last weekend, and now the U13 team will finally get going this weekend.

A look at their full upcoming schedule is available below, but the most important part of this early season hockey weekend in West Central has to be a special banner raising taking place at the Unity Community Centre on Sunday:

As for the other games, The U13's will see their first action of the season come Sunday afternoon in Kerrobert at 2:00 when they take on the Martensville Marauders, ahead of a big Saskatoon area road trip next weekend where they will play three games in three days.

The U15 team plays Weyburn at 4:00 pm Saturday in Kerrobert, and then on Sunday the team will play another home game against the Saskatoon Bandits, with that one taking place from the WCEC in Kindersley at 2:00.

Then as mentioned the U18's are raising their banner before Sunday's game at 2:00 pm with that information available above, and then the team is going to be idle until next weekend when they head to Shellbrook to take on the Parkland Elks.
