Today's trivia question was: Roughly how many miles per hour does the earth spin?

We had many great guesses in, but we can only grant one person bragging rights for the day. Today we are giving out double bragging rights First set goes to Darius in Kindersley since they were able to guess the correct answer of 1000mph! But then I had duke text me with the math he did to figure it out exactly. So, I obviously had to give out extra bragging rights today.

Duke's Math: A rough gas at the equator would be 1050 miles an hour. 25,000 miles circumference. divided by 24 will give you roughly 1000 to 1100. Miles per hour, however the further away from the equator you are, the effect essentially be faster
