The 57th annual Draggins' Rod and Custom Car Show took place in Saskatoon on April 14th and 15th, 2017.
Exhibitors from across Western Canada competed for over $10,000 in trophies and cash awards in a variety of classes including customs, hots rods, antiques, restorations, muscle cars, vintage motor cycles and custom trucks.
Some outstanding entrees included:
- A full custom 1929 Plymouth four door touring sedan with a 1200 hp tubo diesel
-A replica Munster touring limousine built on a stretched 1927 Model T chassis
-A custom full fendered Dearborn Deuce '32 Ford cabriolet painted Atomic Silver
-A custom 1935 Chevrolet hot rod pick up with Pewter paint from Calgary
-A custom 1950 Mercury lead sled coupe painted matte black from Neepawa, Man.
Camp Easter Seal is the focus of their fundraising and this year they hope to assist the Saskatchewan Abilities Council in providing 800 children and adults with disabilities all that a Saskatchewan summer camp has to offer.
