Classic Hits and Country 104 presented the "Citizen of the Year" at this year's Harvest Fest opening Concert. Morning show host Devin Brown was on stage to read the nomination form and he presented the plaque to the 2016 Rosetown Citizen of the year: Doug Deboice.

This was the winning Pumpkin display, as voted on by Festival goers. Adelle Smith and Brenda Winny were representing retired teachers and they will have $100 to donate to a cause of their choice.

Second place winner for the Pumpkin Display was decorated by Jack Hamilton, representing the retired business people.

Third place in pumpkin decorating went to the defending champion WAS students. This year represented by Dustin Moore and Josalyn Ashmore.

Classic Hits took names from everyone who wanted to register and we met people from Toronto, Humboldt, Yorkton, Elrose, Dodsland, Kindersley, Davidson, Dinsmore, Wiseton, Edmonton, Kelowna, Major, Cupar, Dalmeny, Prud'homme, North Battleford, Calgary, Chestamere, and certainly a few from Rosetown as well! Winner of the Distance Travelled contest was Amy Jans, from Elrose.


Business Decorating contest was won by Rosetown Remax. With honourable mention to Regal Motors & Western Financial.
