Kindersley’s Dakota Buttar went one for three to finish eleventh at the latest Professional Bull Riding event in Kansas City, Missouri.

Round one saw Buttar bucked off in 4.22 seconds but he came back determined in round two for his ride on Real Gun. Buttar made the eight seconds and earned himself an 86.5 point ride, the sixth highest marks for the round.

In round three, Buttar had his eye on the prize as he selected, Fearless, a bull who has been donned with the title, bull of the event, in two previous outtings.

Despite his best efforts, Buttar got rocked forward, losing his momentum and not only ricocheted his face-mask off the top of Fearless, he was quickly thrown into the chutes causing Buttar to stay down for several minutes before making his way out of the arena. 

Although Buttar got bucked off of the infamous bull just 2.5 seconds, Fearless earned a league best 46.5 point bull score and was again titled, bull of the event.

Buttar was able to secure himself 20 world points and $1450.00 for his weekend efforts. This was the Kindersley natives twelfth event of 2019 and third within March.

Preceeding the Kansas City event, Buttar placed 25th in Duluth, GA, earning just $400.00 and no world points. His showing in Little Rock, AR, was the best event of the year so far with Buttar riding picking up an 89.75 point ride in the first round, landing him in 5ht place, collecting 110 world points and nearly $7500.

Buttar remains in the top 35 in the world standings, currently ranked 31st.
