Dodsland's hockey arena will be the venue for a junior B hockey game this weekend.

The PJHL's Delisle Chiefs and Carrot River Outback Thunder will duke it out in Dodsland this Saturday for a neutral site home game. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Chiefs are currently on a 6-game winning streak and are a league-best 19-1 at the halfway point of the season. Austin Linnen is fifth in league scoring with 42 points in 20 games. Not far behind is teammate Benson Thorpe with 31 points in 19 games played.

As for the Thunder, they are still searching for their first win of December and have only won 1 game in their last 9. Rookie Mitchell Reid will be the focal point offensively for Carrot River with his team-leading 26 points in 23.

The public will have the opportunity to take advantage of a special deal on for Saturday's game. Fans will be able to get an adult admission ticket ($8.00) and a Super 50/50 draw ticket ($10.00) for $15.00 with a guaranteed $1000 50/50.

The Chiefs will also have local resident Stacey McIntosh as their guest anthem singer.
