Kindersley Minor Ball has been keeping its eye on the train and play phases for both softball and baseball, and in a statement to West Central Online, President Chad Miller explained that competition will remain in a suspended state for now. You can read the statement from Miller below.
So now that phase 4 is open, we have sat down and reviewed all the Return to play documents and waivers from Softball Sask and Baseball Sask.
Now, we do have a few concerns regarding the documents and the waivers, which have been released to the public on Baseball Sask and Softball Sask websites.
I will comment that the Softball documents and waivers are drastically different than the Baseball documents and waivers, so we have requested clarity on that.
As far as Kindersley Minor Ball is concerned, we are currently in a suspended state, while we continue to preform a risk analysis and are also seeking legal advise prior to committing to starting up programming.
As for senior baseball we will have an update in the near future, as it appears the FVBL will be on the diamond for some part of the 2020 summer season.
