The Special Olympics Kindersley and Area group had a great showing at the 2019 Saskatchewan Provincial Winter Games. Many participants competed in the bowling events, with a few even taking home medals.

Kerrobert's Chad Riendeau placed second in the Men's Division G Bowling event, earning himself a silver medal.

Another silver medalist was Michelle Eurich from Luseland, who placed second in the Women's Division F Bowling.

Other bowlers from the region included Darcy Koenig, Byron Ortynski, Andrew Nagy and Christopher Beckett in the Men's Divisions. Judy Bell, Rachelle Doll, Renee Scherr and Ann Anderson from the area competed in the Women's Division.

Mixed Bowling Team 'Who Cares' placed first in their division, bringing home a gold medal. The other Bowling Team, 'Unity & District' placed fourth in their division.

Around 300 people were competing at the games which were held in Regina this year.
