A pair of Kindersley Klippers players have been selected to play in the SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Regina which takes place this upcoming Monday and Tuesday.

Local goaltender Justen Close and forward Keillan Olson will play on team Kunitz which features players born in 1997 or 1998.

60 college eligible players were chosen by the coaches for the showcase. Each team plays 2 games at the Co-operators center.

The Klippers are in Weyburn tonight to take on the Red Wings and are looking to bounce back after a 3-2 overtime loss to the Bruins in Estevan on Wednesday night.

The rematch between the Klippers and Bruins is scheduled for tomorrow night at 7:30 PM and is once again at Affinity Place.
This past Tuesday’s game in Wilcox against Notre Dame was postponed due to winter conditions. A make-up date for the game has not been announced yet.

The postponed game in Kindersley that was originally scheduled for Saturday, December 30th against the Battlefords North Stars will be made up on Tuesday January 23rd. Puck drop is at 7:30 PM at the West Central Events Centre and tickets for the original date will be honoured.
