This past weekend was the 10th annual RAVE Tournament at Loreburn Central School. The two day event ran Friday and Saturday and featured 13 teams.

The North West Central Wildcats won every game, losing only a few sets in the final games, to win the tournament title this year.

Head Coach, Marcel Rousseaux, talked about their first weekend of competition for the season, "It was a learning experience for all of them but they did really good all the way through."

This is Rousseaux's first year coaching the Wildcats volleyball team. He said so far, the team is showing a lot of strength on the court, "It's a very good team, so I'm hoping we can work it all the end. Who knows? Maybe provincials, we'll see what happens."

The Wildcats only have seven players on the team this year.

The RAVE runner-ups were the Outlook 'A' Blues team. In the consolation round, LCBI defeated Eston
