A weekend road trip in Alberta saw the Rosetown Redwings come out with a win and a loss with the latter at the hands of the Innisfail Eagles.

The Wings have a few days to prepare for their rematch with the Innisfail Eagles this Saturday after losing 5-2 in Innisfail this past Sunday.

Head coach Keegan McAvoy talks more about that tough loss from Sunday afternoon.

This time around though, the Redwings won't have to worry about travel time or hotels. This week at home will give the Wings a chance to reassess their upcoming matchup and make any necessary tune ups before then.

McAvoy gave some more insight on what the team will have to clean up in order to get the victory this weekend in Rosetown.

Rosetown fans will not have too many more opportunities to catch the Redwings for the remainder of 2018.

After Saturday game against Innisfail, the Redwings will be on the road for a doubleheader versus the Stony Plain Eagles during the first weekend of December before they're back at the Banner Barn for back-to-back games against the Lacombe Generals. This will mark their last games until Saturday, January 5th, 2019.

Not only will it be Rosetown's last action before the new year, but the team has some big plans for those pair of games against the Generals. Coach McAvoy has more.

As for this Saturday night's game, opening faceoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. from the Rosetown Arena.
