Sask Junior Hockey League (SJHL)

Battlefords North Stars played back to back games against Flin Flon. On Friday, the North Stars and the Bombers played and the Battlefords came out on top with a score of 3-1. The Bombers came out fighting on Saturday and took the game 5- 4.

Also on Saturday night, the Kindersley Klippers took on the Weyburn Red Wings. Kindersley won with a final score of 6-2.

On Sunday, the North Stars hit the ice for one last time in their busy weekend where they took on Weyburn. The Battlefords ended up taking the match 3-1.

 

Sask West Hockey League

The only game played over the weekend was between the the Biggar Nationals and the Luseland Mallards. Biggar won the game 13-3.

The Kindersley Klippers play the Unity Miners on Wednesday followed by their home opener on the 24th.

The standings for the teams are as follows

  • Kindersley Klippers and the Wilkie Outlaws sit at 3 wins 0 losses
  • Biggar Nationals have 3 wins 1 loss
  • Unity Miners currently only have 1 win and 2 losses
  • Macklin Mohawks have yet to win with 0 wins and 2 losses
  • Luseland Mallards desperately want a win as they sit at 0 wins and 5 losses

 

Sask Valley Hockey League

Friday night was busy with the Elrose Aces traveling to Beechy to take on the Bombers. Final score was 16-1 for Beechy

Kenaston's Blizzards hosted the Loreburn 19ers.Kenaston was triumphant with a final score of 8-4.

Lucky Lake Lakers took on Central Butte's Flyers. Lucky Lake won 9-5

The Eston Ramblers hosted the Delisle Bruins. The game was won by Eston with the final score of 5-2

Saturday wasn't as busy with only three games hitting the ice.

Game one was between Beechy and Central Butte. Beechy won their 2nd game of the weekend with a 8-3 final score.

The Outlook Ice Hawks faced off against Eston. Outlook lost with the final score being 4-2.

And the third game was played between the Elrose Aces and the Kyle Elks. The Elks won with a score of 7-4.

Current standings in the SVHL are as follows

  • Lucky Lake Lakers and the Kenaston Blizzards are on top with 3 wins 0 losses for both teams
  • Kyle Elks have 2 wins 0 losses
  • Delisle Bruins have 3 wins 1 loss
  • Eston Ramblers are tied with Delisle sitting at 3 wins 1 loss
  • Beechy Bombers 2 wins 2 losses
  • Outlook Ice Hawks 1 win and 3 losses
  • Central Butte Flyers  have 1 win and 4 losses
  • Loreburn 19ers 0 wins and 3 losses
  • Elrose aces 0 wins 4 losses

 

Prairie Junior Hockey League

Both the Delisle Chiefs and West Centrals Rage started the weekend early by playing a mid week game on Wednesday November 14th.

The Chiefs took on the Titans winning 3 to 2 in overtime while Rage lost 10-4 to the Quakers.

The weekend continued with Regina's Sliver Foxes traveling to Delisle to take on the Chiefs. The Chiefs came out with a win final score was 7-3

And the West Central Rage played back-to-back home games. Saturday they took on Fort Knox and won 5-2. On Sunday, the Rage lost to the Regina Capitals 5-1.

The Delisle Chiefs are the only team in the league to have a perfect record in the standings at 13 wins and 0 losses. The West Central Rage sit with 5 victories and 10 defeats.

 

Allan Cup Hockey West

Rosetown's AAA Senior Redwings spent the weekend on the road in Alberta. The first stop was Lacombe to play the Generals. Rosetown won with the final score of 5-4.

Sunday, the Redwings headed south to play the Innisfail Eagles. They dropped their 2nd game of the season with Innisfail winning 5-2.

Currently, the Redwings are 3-2-0-0 for 3rd place in the Allan Cup Hockey West standings.
