The installation of the synthetic greens at the Bell Acres Golf & Country Club recently got underway, and the Town of Luseland and members of the Luseland Golf course are excited to get the project going.

This includes Treasurer of the Country Club Ryley Magnus, and he said the Town is buzzing over what is going on at the golf course.

“The feedback from the golfers and the community is awesome, the Town’s really buzzing about what is going on right now. The turf installers came out of Saskatoon early this week, and by the end of the day Thursday they had their first finished synthetic green at Bell Acres Golf & Country Club, so we are very excited about that,” Magnus said about the installation of the new synthetic greens.

The timeline for the synthetic greens being installed is about three weeks or so, according to Magnus.

“It’s about a three-week installation for all 9 holes, so we are right on track with that yet. So, we are looking for end of May, first week of June barring any rain delays,” Magnus said about the timeline of the installation. He also added he wouldn’t mind of there was a rain delay due to the dry conditions in the area.

The new greens aren’t the only thing Bell Acres will have this year, as renovations have been done at the Club House as well.

Magnus explained the makeover the Club House received and how the renovation came about.

“The executive got together and thought of what things we can do up there to improve the course and part of that was improving the golf Club House as well. We put new flooring in, new suspended ceiling, fresh coat of paint, we fixed up the bar, and we got new tables and chairs coming in as well,” Magnus said about the makeover of the Club House.

There was also some more news announced by the Bell Acres Golf & Country Club as golf carts are up for rent.

“We also bought two golf carts for people to rent. We’ve had no carts here in the past, other than just what people own privately, so now we’ve got our own course owned carts, and we will be starting that very soon,” Magnus said about the new additions to the Country Club.

West Central Online will have more on the new synthetic greens at the Bell Acres Golf & Country Club, and how other projects are going at the Country Club, in the coming weeks.
