Team Canada is sweeping their competition, sitting undefeated after day three at the World Men’s Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta. Biggar’s Colton Flasch, and his teammates including skip, Kevin Koe, continue to dominate on home ice with a five-win, zero-loss record.

Two wins were banked on Saturday which was opening day for the tournament. Team Canada first saw Team Korea in session 1 and claimed the victory with a final score of 6 to 5. Later that day they went head-to-head with Russia which proved to be a short game for the men as they got the win in only seven ends and a final score of 11 to 3.

Sunday, Team Canada faced off against Team Italy in their morning game, which again, ended early for the Canadians as they were able to take the win in nine ends with a final score of 9 to 5. Their afternoon game against Team China also only went nine ends with once again, Team Canada taking the win with a final score of 8 to 6.

Yesterday the men faced Team Norway in their fifth of 12, round-robin match-ups. In the fifth end of the game, Team Canada was ahead of the Norwegians by six which they extended to eight, winning 10 to 2.

Team Canada will be back in action from Lethbridge tomorrow afternoon for just one match-up, set against Germany. The latter half of the week will have the Canadian’s on the ice for both morning and afternoon games as they look to stay atop the leader-board.

Team Canada will face Team Japan and Team Sweden on Wednesday, both of which remained undefeated through yesterday afternoon.

The final round-robin match-up for Team Canada will be versus Team Netherlands on Friday, April 5, at 7:00 pm.
