The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers finished off their 5 game home stand on Friday night with a high scoring match-up with Yorkton Terriers. The Klippers lost 7-6 in a shootout and now have a record of 7-9-2-1 in 19 games this season. Tyler Traptow, Kyle Bosch, and Caden Benson each had a goal and an assist with Liam Fraser and Brett Neumeier getting a goal and 2 assists.

The Klippers battled all night long and came back from a 6-4 deficit in the last 12 minutes of the third period with Kyle Bosch tying the game with 18 seconds left to force overtime. There was no scoring in the overtime and a shootout was needed. Scott McKenzie scored in the shootout for the Klippers but Jordan Guiney and Alec Zawatsky scored for the Terriers to take the game. Kindersley will now head on the road for pair of games against the La Ronge Ice Wolves starting on Friday night. The Klippers will have a chance for revenge against the Terriers as they will host them once again next Tuesday at the West Central Events Centre at 7:30 pm.
